Victor

  • Short Day

  • Mid to late season.

  • Adapts well to most areas of Mexico.

  • Very aesthetic conical shape, useful for making cabos.

  • Excellent shelf life and firmness.

  • Large, consistent fruit in season.

  • Resistant to Neopestalotipsis.

  • Full fruits, with crunch.

  • Not attractive to mites such as two-spotted spider.

Eclipse

  • Day Neutral - Extreme

  • Summer planting.

  • Large fruit.

  • High yields in fall plant segments when grown.

  • Significant yield increase over Portola.

  • Good fruit size and firmness being consistent throughout the season.

  • Moderate resistance to Phytophtora and Verticillium.

  • Short Day

  • Early fruiting and marketable yields when grown as Fronteras.

  • Performs best in short day districts with at least 200 chilling hours in nursery.

  • Better fruit firmness and shelf life compared to Fronteras.

  • Verticillium of moderate resistance.

  • Resistant to Phytophtora.

  • Resistant to Fusarium.
